ASTI directs members to teach classes remotely

Teachers belonging to the ASTI have been told by the union not to co-operate with plans to teach Leaving Cert students in class from next week.
The Government announced yesterday that sixth years are to attend school three days a week from next Monday.
However, the ASTI says members should not cooperate with this instruction and should only teach remotely due to health and safety concerns.
