Record number of Covid-19 deaths reported

There has been a further 93 Covid-19 deaths – the highest daily figure since the start of the pandemic.
An additional 2,001 new cases have also been confirmed, 90 in Donegal.
Meanwhile the number of people in hospital with the disease now stands at 1,949, while 202 are in intensive care.
