Fines for drivers and passengers if in breach of non-essential travel

Gardai in Donegal say nationwide checkpoints and high visibility patrols at public amenities will continue this weekend.
They’re advising the public to plan their activities over the weekend as people are only allowed to exercise within 5km of their home.
Gardai say the public should be aware that if a driver is found in breach of the non-essential travel regulations, the driver can be fined, as well as their adult passengers.
