People are being urged to have a rethink when buying a pet during the pandemic.
While there’s been a big increase in people working from home or out of work, there’s also been a big uptake in dog ownership.
But there’s concern that some may not have been put enough long term thought into the move.
Senior Inspector with the ISPCA in Donegal Kevin McGinley says there’s a genuine fear that when things do eventually return to normal, pet owners may not have the same time to devote to their dog:
