Families of victims of Troubles submit petition to Foreign Affairs Minister

The families of those that died in the Troubles who are still seeking justice, have submitted a petition to the Minister for Foreign Affairs.

They are asking the Irish Government to prevent the British from ending all investigations in to controversial killings.

The British Government is planning to introduce legislation next month to end all such inquiries and investigations.

Joe Campbell, whose catholic father was shot dead by the UVF in 1977 while serving as an RUC officer in Cushendall Co. Antrim says, Simon Coveney may be their last chance to get justice:
