A former presidential election candidate believes an incentive needs to be given to landlords to renovate and rent vacant properties in a bid to tackle the housing crisis in Ireland.
Multi-national businessman, Peter Casey says at present there is no motivation for owners of vacant buildings to bring their property back onto the market and instead they are left lying derelict.
