Letterkenny University Hospital had the third highest level of overcrowding in the country this morning, with 51 patients awaiting beds, 10 of them on Emergency Department trolleys.
In Sligo, there were 17 people without beds, 10 of them in the ED.
The state’s highest figure was recorded in Limerick, with 67 people waiting there.
The national total was 397.
