Cash has been stolen during a burglary at a house in Castlefin.
The theft happened at a house at Hillhead, Castlefin on Saturday between 1pm and 11.40pm.
An attempt was made to open the front door and a front window but these attempts were unsuccessful.
A rear downstairs window was then forced open and entry was gained. A sum of money was stolen from the house.
Gardai would like to hear from anybody who may have observed anything on that date that might assist with our investigation to contact them in Letterkenny.
