A 3k walk/run is set to be held in Letterkenny today, in honour of 23 year old teacher Ashling Murphy, who was killed in Tullamore, County Offaly in shocking circumstances earlier this week.
The walk/run will begin at the Letterkenny Community Centre, with all those wishing to participate being asked to arrive at 3:30pm, with the walk officially beginning at 4pm.
A minute’s silence in honour of Ashling will also be held before the event.
Families and people of all ages are being invited to take part in the event.
