There were 47 people awaiting admission to Letterkenny University Hospital this morning according to the latest trolley watch report.
12 people were on trolleys in its Emergency Department while a further 35 were waiting on wards.
There number is down seven on yesterday’s figure of 54 but it remains the second most overcrowded hospital in Ireland.
