16,019 new coronavirus cases have been notified to the Health Protection Surveillance Centre
That consists of 6,284 PCR-confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 9,735 positive antigen tests.
As of 8am today, 1,047 COVID-19 patients were in hospital with the disease, with 42 in ICU.
