Government concerned over UK’s plan to bring in visa waiver system

The Foreign Affairs Minister says the Irish government has concerns over UK plans to bring in a visa waiver system.

The changes would mean all non-Irish EU citizens living in the Republic need travel authorisation to cross the border.

The UK’s Northern Ireland Secretary insists it won’t lead to border checks.
