Met Eireann has updated Status Yellow wind warnings for six counties which are in place from now.
The forecaster has issued an alert for Clare, Galway and Mayo which will run until 9pm tonight.
A similar warning for Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo will be in place until 6am tomorrow morning.
Met Eireann is predicting very strong winds in both areas, which may make it difficult to drive.
