Covid-19 hospitalisations down 75 percent as daily case number reports to end

The number of Covid patients in hospital has decreased by 75 per cent this month.

There were nearly 1,400 at the start of April – but only 379 now.

The Department of Health says it won’t be publishing daily Covid case numbers from today onwards – after doing so for two years.
