Council hosting public consultations on County Development Plan

Donegal County Council is hosting a number of public consultation events across the county over the month of May.

People are being invited to participate in a pre-draft public consultation for the new County Donegal Development Plan, and the proposed variation to the current County Donegal Development Plan in respect of wind energy policy.

A drop in consultation for the Twin Towns takes place today at Jacksons Hotel in Ballybofey.

Events will take place in the Milford Public Service Centre on Monday next, Donegal Town Public Service Centre on Wednesday and the Dungloe Public Service Centre on Thursday.

On Monday May 16th, an event takes place at An Cúirt Hotel in Gaoth Dobhair, while Wednesday May 18th will see an event at the Carndonagh Public Service Centre.

In the south of the county, a drop in event takes place on Thursday May 19th at the Bundoran Town Council Offices on Station Road.

In Buncrana, the Inishowen Gateway Hotel will host an event on Monday May 23rd, while on Tuesday May 24th, an event takes place at the Highland Hotel Glenties.

The final consultation takes place on Wednesday May 25th at the Letterkenny Public Service Centre

The consultations will take place between 3 o’clock and 8 o’clock each day.
