Police in Derry say a man was assaulted and sustained facial injuries in the city last night.
Shortly before midnight, it was reported that three men entered a property in Lower Nassau Street and assaulted the 45 year old male occupant. He was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment.
Police say this incident is being investigated as an aggravated burglary, and they are anxious to hear from anyone with information, or who saw any suspicious activity in the area.
