IW working to repair burst water main in Inishowen

Irish Water are working to repair four burst water mains in Donegal.

Irish Water say repairs may cause supply disruptions at Upper Drung, Quigleys Point and surrounding areas.

A traffic management plan is in place for the works, which are set to take place until 4pm this afternoon.

Meanwhile, a burst affecting Calhame, Bohirril and surrounduing areas in Letterkenny is expected to be resolved by midday, a burst main affected much of Buncrana should be repaired by 1pm, while a burst affecting Cranford, Carrigart and surrounding areas should be resolved by 4pm

Irish Water say it could take two to three hours for supplies to return to normal after the work is completed.

Repairs to a burst water main may cause supply disruptions to Upper Drung, Ballyargus, Cullineen, Clar, Ballyratten, Quigleys Point and surrounding areas in Co. Donegal.

 

A traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of the works.

 

Works are scheduled to take place from 10am until 4pm on 10 May.
