Police are warning of the circulation of counterfeit notes.
A number of fake £20 notes were used in Derry City Centre in recent days.
Police are urging people to take care whilst handling cash.
They are advising that counterfeit notes have the same serial number, are thicker or heavier than normal and do not have a reflective foil.
