Shailesh Vara has been appointed by Boris Johnson as Northern Ireland Secretary.
He replaces Brandon Lewis who stepped down earlier this morning saying he had lost faith in the British Prime Minister’s leadership.
Mr Vara had previously been a junior minister for Northern Ireland but resigned over the Brexit deal.
