It’s been announced that water breaks will be in place for this weekend’s Donegal Club Championship games, as well as all FAI-sanctioned soccer matches this weekend due to the warm weather.
It’s understood the Donegal CCC have decided to implement the breaks for this weekend as a temporary measure as temperatures are set to reach the mid-twenties.
The Donegal Senior Football Championship gets underway this weekend, with a number of Junior and Intermediate fixtures down for decision also.
The FAI has also put in place water breaks for soccer matches at all levels this weekend at the midway point of each half in games.
