The Irish Red Cross says that as of this afternoon, the Creeslough Community Support Fund supported by An Post and Applegreen has reached €352,000.
A spokesperson says they are overwhelmed at the generosity of the Irish public and corporates for their outpouring of huge support for fund, which was established yesterday.
They say the fund will enable the channeling of funding to the local community to provide practical help and support.
