The Tus Nua project in Carndonagh is not moving as fast as local people would like.
That’s according to Councillor Martin McDermott who says it is essential no more time is lost on the major €9.5m redevelopment project.
The project in Carndonagh is due to commence before Christmas with the tender process for the professional design and supervision team services and a valuer.
The project will deliver a new multi-use hub located in a regenerated heritage building (formerly McDonagh Stores) for a range of uses including: a co-working space & digital creative laboratory, office space, youth space, a community kitchen, and public amenities.
Work on the project is expected to proceed to site in quarter 3 of 2023.
