Donegal County Council has confirmed that it will continue discussions with Failte Ireland to further develop tourism facilities in Letterkenny.
It comes following repeated calls for the Old Courthouse to be brought back into use as a tourism discovery centre.
Councillor Ciaran Brogan has proposed other parts of Donegal could be showcased at the facility through virtual reality tours.
