The newly formed Letterkenny Hospital Action Committee says campaigning for a minor injuries unit in the region will be a key element of its activities.
The committee says the introduction of such a unit would help cut overcrowding at the hospital’s Emergency Department.
The committee formed following a demonstration outside the hospital last month.
