Donegal County Council are reminding landowners that today marks the final day of hedge cutting season.
Hedges are not to be cut from now until the end of August under the Wildlife Acts with the exception of cases of public health & safety.
Reports of unauthorised hedge-cutting should be made to the National Parks & Wildlife Service or reported to the Gardaí.
