It’s believed there are talks between an Inishowen business man and the Rural Independent Group with the intent to form a new political movement.
Deputy Mattie McGrath confirmed to the Irish Independent that he did have a meeting with Former Presidential Candidate Peter Casey and others.
It was the second meeting they had.
Deputy McGrath said the meeting are to discuss the mutual desire to form a new political organisation to better represent the public.
