Emergency services are searching for a person reported missing on Achill Island.
The alert was raised last night.
Malin Head Coast Guard and Gardaí are among those involved in the operation, along with the Sligo-based Coast Guard helicopter R118, Achill RNLI and the Achill Coast Guard unit.
A Coastguard spokesperson says there has been no sighting of the missing person as of yet.
