PBP calls for TV licence to be scrapped

People Before Profit is calling for the TV licence to be scrapped.

The number of licences paid in the first week of August was 9,361.

That’s down from 15,030 in the same week last year, according to figures from the Department of Media.

This means almost four in ten people are now not paying their annual subscription.
