Donegal ranks fifth in terms of Gardaí numbers

Donegal garda division has the fifth highest number of frontline officers, according to newly released figures from the Irish Independent.

There are 261 stationed in the county per 100,000 population.

Waterford ranked highest with 296.

Meanwhile, at the bottom, Meath had 142.
