Former Letterkenny Town Councillor and Mayor Damien Blake has died after an illness. He was 41,
Mr Blake was elected onto the town council in 2004, and served a five year term.
In 2005, he was elected Mayor.
Mr Blake was an IT professional, and spent several years working for Google. He was also a part time lecturer at the then Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
