Derry City had to settle for a point at home to Shamrock Rovers on Friday night.
Cameron McJannet put the Candystripes ahead on 62 minutes before Graham Burke’s penalty on 84 minutes ensured a share of the spoils.
The draw means Rovers remain four points clear of second placed Derry.
