Gardaí from Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit were operating a checkpoint this afternoon when they observed that a vehicle had turned away from them.
The vehicle was stopped and it was established that the vehicle was not taxed, insured or tested.
The vehicle was seized and the driver will now face a court appearance.
