New regulations coming into force to govern the use of e scooters have been welcomed.
The new rules would ban the use of the scooters by anyone under the age of 16.
Councillor Nicholas Crossan says there has been particular issues around the use of electric scooters in Swan Park which has led to calls for them to be banned in the amenity.
