Walkout at Killybegs community meeting over fishing row


A number of people walked out of a Fianna Fail local community meeting following heated exchanges over the fishing industry.

Minister for the Marine, Charlie McConalogue chaired the meeting with an update on fishing negotiations on the agenda.

Members of the fishing industry walked out of the Local Community Meeting where Brexit, fish quotas and the future of Killybegs were among the items discussed.

Minister Charlie McConalogue says the meeting was in fact productive:
