Almost 80% of junior doctors say they’re being pressured to work extra shifts

Almost eight in ten junior doctors say they’re being pressured to work extra shifts to fill gaps.

A survey by the Irish Medical Organisation says it’s contributing to burnout.

It was conducted ahead of the group’s AGM in Kerry this week.
