Police in Derry City and Strabane have served more than 20 summonses and executed 18 outstanding warrants during a ‘day of action’ earlier this week.
The proactive policing operation took place yesterday and involved Neighbourhood Policing Teams from Ballyarnett, Foyleside and The Moor, Waterside in the city, and Derg NPT in Strabane.
It focused on people wanted on outstanding warrants, those linked to ongoing investigations and offenders suspected of committing offences, ranging from road traffic offences to violent crime.
It also focused on breaches of Court-imposed conditions, which led to the arrest of four people.
Police say enquiries are ongoing.
