Funding is being made available for communities in Donegal hosting refugees or asylum seekers.
The Community Recognition Fund 2024 is now open for applications.
This Fund aims to support the development of community infrastructure and facilities in recognition of the contribution being made by communities in welcoming and hosting significant numbers of arrivals from Ukraine and other countries.
The development of facilities that will be used in the future by all members of the community will be supported.
€50 million is available nationally with almost €3.4 million allocated to Donegal.
Capital grants of between €50,000 and €500,000 are available.
