The N56 Dungloe to Glenties road was officially opened by Mr Jack Chambers, Minister of State at the Department of Transport this afternoon.
Over €100M has been invested in improving around 26km of the road and to see the addition of a 2m wide shared footway and cycle track.
The project was delivered in 5 phases over 10 years.
