History is to be made as Derry City and Strabane District Council appoint Cllr Lilian Barr as the next Mayor.
She will be the first black mayor in Northern Ireland.
Cllr Barr says the significance of her appointment as Mayor is not lost on her and she will work for every single person regardless of their religion, ethnicity or background:
