Manus Boyle questions delay over Killybegs Port of National Significance status

Donegal Senator Manus Boyle is questioning whether Killybegs has been put forward for designation as a Port of National Significance.

He says he has raised the issue over the past year, but seemingly to no avail.

Addressing the Seanad, he pointed out that a similar process for a port in Denmark took just six weeks.

Senator Boyle says the designation could bring economic benefits and is vital for the Killybegs community:
