Uisce Eireann is being urged to prioritise 40 houses in Brockagh/Glenfin area which do not have running water.
The issue’s been raised by Dakota Nic Mheanman, a Sinn Féin candidate in the Lifford-Stranorlar Electoral Area.
She says Uisce Éireann have told her they have replaced a number of valves, and that has helped some households. There is also water pressure testing going on in the area at present.
Ms Nic Mheanman says having visited the area with Deputy Pearse Doherty and MEP Chris McManus, the issue is not only affecting existing houses, it’s also hampering future developments:
