General Election candidate, Pat the Cope Gallagher has welcomed the announcement by Stormont that funding for the upgrade of the A5 is approved.
The project will begin in early 2025 and will be completed on a phased basis, expected to finished in five years’ time.
The former Minister of State and Transport says he is hopeful that progress can be made.
