Minister for Justice Helen McEntee says its a “great honour” to be appointed the new Deputy Leader of Fine Gael.
The change in leadership follows Minister Heather Humphreys’ shock announcement last night that she will not be contesting the next General Election.
In a statement, Minister McEntee says she will give her all to the role and has thanked Taoiseach Simon Harris for picking her.
