Eamonn Kelly and his co-driver Gordon Noble have won the prestigious Rally San Remo in Italy this afternoon.
Rally San Remo is a famous event on the European Historic Rally Championship circuit, with the route dating back to 1928.
Donegal driver Kelly finished top of the pile in his BMW ahead of Lubiak Maciej in second and Erdi Tibor in third.
This rally was a very special event for Kelly to compete in as it was the first time he had ever competed in the same rally as his father, Donagh Kelly.
Donagh, along with co-driver Rory Kennedy, finished in 6th position overall after experiencing transmission issues which cost them over 1 minute yesterday evening.
Co-driver Kennedy said the pair were happy to have completed the rally as it was tough to deal with the bad weather conditions.
