The Buncrana First Responder Group has responded to 100 calls within its first 6 months.
The average response time from the group which was established in May is between 8 and 11 minutes.
Last month, the group were tasked to a total of 18 call outs. 12 of them were in response to reports of chest pain, 3 for stroke and 2 for heart issues.
The group says the figures show the need for the service in Buncrana.
