The Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council is calling for changes to the regulations governing the construction and provision of affordable homes.
Donegal County Council has been surveying people on the demand for affordable homes, as the county wasn’t included in the first scheme implemented by the previous government.
Members have been told however that the terms of the scheme in terms of density and demand mean that only Letterkenny would qualify for inclusion.
