A yellow low temperature weather warning remains in place for Donegal.
The alert came into effect at 5pm yesterday evening and will last until 12pm this afternoon.
It is expected temperatures will struggle to get above freezing during the day.
As a result, Met Éireann are urging people to be aware of hazardous travelling conditions, icy patches and travel disruption.
