Donegal Deputy Charlie McConalogue has been appointed as Minister of State at the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media with special responsibility for sport and postal policy.
The announcement has been made in the last half hour.
Meanwhile, its largely speculated that South Donegal TD Marian Harkin will be named as the Minister of State at the Department of Further and Higher Education.
