The PSNI has launched a murder investigation following the death of a 31 year old man in County Tyrone.
Stephen Holmes was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after an assault in the Beechmount Village area of Strabane in the early hours of last Monday morning.
Police say he died from his injuries yesterday.
A 31 year old man appeared in court in relation to the incident on Thursday.
