Local Link services could be used to boost the night-time economy.
Councillor Declan Meehan says the pressure on taxis in Letterkenny, particularly at night, is well documented, as are the difficulties people face trying to get home after a night out.
He believes a balance can be struck to ensure the service isn’t burdened with passengers who are excessively intoxicated:
